We have a need for
modern PC Monitors and Personal Computer
systems for the H.O.M.E.S. Inc. office, the 30 unit Jackson
Aisle project and our single family residences.
Residents often have computer skills they learned before they became sick.
Many are now attending computer classes. They need computers so they can send
and receive email - e.g. for job prospecting or to communicate with long lost
family and friends.
What computers can we use? In one sentence, the
computers ideally should be able to run Windows XP. Most other
specifications are optional. Modems, network interface cards, printers,
monitors, etc. - most peripherals are all useful. We can get the computers
upgraded or fixed. Or we can trade them in on systems that more precisely
match our needs.
Can you provide tech support or basic user
orientation & training for the PC systems at Jackson Aisle or at the
individual homes?
Thanks for your support.
