HOMES provides supportive independent housing to help adults recovering from mental illness to reintegrate back into society and achieve personal goals. HOMES offers transitional and permanent living arrangements in six houses in Orange County. HOMES is also a partner in Jackson Aisle Apartments, a 29-unit building for previously homeless adults with mental illness. (Referral by a County or County-contracted clinic is required for placement into Jackson Aisle). Lastly, HOMES partnered with Jamboree Housing to develop Diamond Apartment Homes, the first permanent multi-unit housing development for families with at least one adult member who suffers from a chronic mental illness. Completion of Diamond Apartment Homes is scheduled for early 2009. Living at HOMES means the ideal balance between privacy and companionship, between supportive services and independence. |
